EMOM 10

Clean + 2 Jerks

*Jerk can be split jerk or push jerk.

*Begin sets at 50% and build across sets.

COACH'S NOTES

EMOM:

-Every Minute on The Minute perform one clean plus two jerks.

Warm Up/Primer:

-Banded Front Rack Opener 1min/side

-Clean Warm Up (Video)

Focus Points:

-Begin with light weight for the complex today (50% or lighter).

-As the EMOM progresses and you are successful with each lift, add weight.

-Speed and efficiency with movement is the key for today.

-If these lifts are new to you, use a PVC/Broomstick and work the skill of the movement. (It takes a lot of practice).

-Establish a moderately heavy load for the day and record your results.

COACH'S NOTES

Primer:

Perform 4-6 Reps of each movement (Use SUBS where needed)

Focus Points:

-Strive for a smooth pace each round.

-When testing this workout I did the DB snatch "Per arm" meaning I did the reps per arm not as a total.

-If you're looking for a 30 minute workout then you can choose to do it this way.

-Otherwise the reps on the dumbbell snatch should be total reps (example round of 3 should be Left arm, right arm, left arm).

Goal:

-Perform each set unbroken.

-This means that pacing needs to be smooth not necessarily fast.

-A smooth and methodical pace will yield consistent results in this workout.
